Guy Mahaffy, CFA, CA, CPA

Principal

 

Guy Mahaffy holds the professional designations of Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant, Chartered Professional Accountant, and was issued a Certified Public Accountant certificate by the Illinois State Board of Examiners.   He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (with a major in accounting), a Master of Accounting degree (with a major in taxation) and has completed the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Course Level III (International Taxation).

Guy has over 25 years of experience, including 15 years serving primarily in the role of Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and Board member of public companies listed on both the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange, where he was involved in the successful completion of a number of acquisitions, divestitures and public offerings. 

 

In serving in such roles, he has held top level responsibilities for the design, implementation and oversight of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, performance monitoring, and internal control systems.
